Cleaning the inside of the device
We recommend cleaning the device with a cloth and 70% ethanol, if available.
Spilled device* or Forgotten microplate inside*
If that doesn’t work, it may be the case that the spills have corroded the protective film, in which case further cleaning will not help.
*If the condensation has penetrated the film, chances are the optical unit has been exposed to liquid and may need to be replaced.
