Plates not fitting the device

Eject button not working? Plates not fitting?

Some plates have trouble fitting inside the instrument due to manufacturing tolerances. Our device is manufactured using the SLAS/ANSI/SBS format specifications, however, an unlucky combination of tolerances (low on our end, high on the plate end) can lead to some plates not fitting inside the instrument. For example, we’ve seen this with plates from Greiner in the past or plates from Amazon. If you have access to a different plate, I would try that out.

Internally, we use plates from Eppendorf, TPP, and almost every ELISA manufacturer on the market, including strip-well plates, so if you’re using an ELISA microplate from a kit, it would be a first for us that it doesn’t fit. Do you mind telling me what type of plate you’re using and, if it’s part of an ELISA kit, the manufacturer of the kit as well?
